Paul Carley visited the Department in the week of 17-21 December. He lectured on phonetics, intonation and dialects. The photo was taken during his lecture on dialects "Describing a Welsh Accent".

Liber.ac 2014

The Academic Book Fair Liber.ac was established on the initiative of the Faculty of Arts Bookshop in 2010 as a three-day event promoting the publications of Slovene university publishing houses, bookshops, and libraries. It is held in May in the Foerster garden, next to the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, and welcomes academics, experts, students, and anyone interested in the range and quality of academic and scientific work showcased there.

Many of the events at the Liber.ac 2014 academic book fair (20-22 May) are organized by the English Department.
